2nd Shift Repack Team Lead

Basic Position Duties
- Process abnormal requests, VC2 orders, distribute work orders to material handlers. Assist in training of Repack associates, assist Repack Operators, collect final numbers from operators. Check current inventory levels for design level issues and quantities available to pack, check shortages.
- Repackaging of inventory – package and label containers of parts using SEWS standards and methods to meet customer demand and packaging requirements. Ability to use a PC and bar code scanner is a requirement
- Material handling – use a pallet jack to move product and packaging materials as needed during the repack function
- Equipment operation – load and operate a cardboard recycling compactor as assigned and the sorting and collection of pallets and reusable packaging materials
- Meet productivity standards – achieve or exceed established targets for task productivity for each of the various tasks assigned
- Safety – perform all work assignments utilizing the SEWS methods for safety and efficiency developed to eliminate the risk of incidents and injury
- Attendance – meet all attendance policy requirements. Arrive to work as scheduled consistently and on-time. Demonstrate reliability and availability to work all assigned shifts and hours in support of the repack team objectives
- Teamwork – demonstrate support and cooperation with all team members to create and maintain a harmonious and productive work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or a combination of education and work experience
- Experience in warehousing or repackaging operations
- Ability to use barcode scanning devices and PC based systems
- Ability to ready, verify and apply product labelling in alphabetic and numeric formats
- Ability to use pallet jacks and charts for material movement
- Ability to lift, bend and otherwise meet physical requirements of the position
- Available to work overtime as scheduled (daily and Saturdays)
